Brookline Village is now home to a restaurant that specializes in sushi and ramen: Chiharu Sushi & Noodle is open at 370 Boylston St., near the Brookline Hills MBTA station.
Chiharu’s owners are Qun Li (formerly of Mix-It in Cambridge and Haru near Copley) and Mei Pan (owner of Allston’s now-defunct May’s Cafe), who started making moves to take over the restaurant space in January of this year, as previously reported.
The restaurant seats 20 and offers a wide selection of sushi rolls filled with fish and veggies, as well as noodle soups and three kinds of ramen (tan tan, miso, and shoyu). There are also sides, salads, pork buns, and gyoza. Chiharu is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is closed on Tuesday.
