A Concord outpost of a Cambridge restaurant from chef Jason Bond has closed its doors: Bondir has served its final table, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, and with the closure, the neighborhood will prepare for the arrival of a new restaurant that has a few other locations in the area.

Fiorella’s will indeed replace Bondir, after making it through a brief hiccup with the transfer of Bondir’s liquor license. The restaurant could open some time in July, per Wicked Local, and it will serve a lineup of Italian dishes, including pizza, pasta, salad, soups, and more.

It takes up the reins from Bondir, which first opened in Concord in 2013, featuring dishes made with local ingredients that rotated with the seasons. In closing his 24 Walden St. restaurant, Bond will refocus his efforts on his acclaimed Cambridge restaurant by the same name, which opened in 2010.
