Harvard University’s Science Library just got a little more caffeinated: Clover officially opened its newest concept within the campus building, and the shiny new coffee bar is stocked with single-origin coffee, plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner items — and it’s completely open to the general public, as Boston Magazine reports.
This is a break from tradition for the Cambridge-based food company, which operates food trucks and stand-alone brick-and-mortar restaurants all around the Boston area. The new Harvard spot puts coffee front and center, sourcing beans from Massachusetts roasters and offering beverages with house-made syrups, as well as cafe au lait and cafe con leche.
Also available at the new coffee counter: juices and grab-and-go items, sandwiches, salads, soups, and pastries, including apple cider doughnuts. Clover is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
