The former home of a longstanding Italian restaurant in Quincy is under new ownership and will soon open as a restaurant and bar. Brick & Beam Tavern is slated to open in the former Villa Rosa space on Adams Street next month, and its management team also operates two restaurants in Boston, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
Some of the individuals behind this new restaurant are also connected to North Star, a restaurant and bar on Friend Street near TD Garden, and The Banshee, an Irish sports bar in Dorchester, per state filings. With a target opening date in June, Brick & Beam is now hiring for all staff positions, according to information on the restaurant’s website and social media pages. Villa Rosa closed down last summer, as previously reported, after more than 60 years of filling Quincy residents with pasta, pizza, and classic Italian dishes.
