A Chinese restaurant with two locations in the Boston area will close down one of the spots at the end of June. Golden Garden in Belmont is set to close on June 30, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
The 63 Concord Ave. restaurant has a “for rent” sign displayed in the window, along with a note explaining the restaurant’s lease is ending. This original location has been around since 2010, and the restaurant added a second location in Malden earlier this year. The Malden restaurant, located at 9 Highland Ave., will remain open. The menu at Golden Garden includes a wide selection of items, including dumplings, teriyaki skewers, fried rice and lo mein, noodle soups, seafood and meat entrees, vegetarian options, and a full section of Sichuan cuisine.
Update, 7/3: Golden Gate isn’t closing its Belmont location after all.
