A California-based cold-pressed juice shop just landed in the Boston area, opening its first regional store in Cambridge’s Harvard Square. Pressed Juicery took over the space at 1380 Massachusetts Ave. where Pinkberry operated before shutting down earlier this year.
A second Pressed Juicery is set to follow the Harvard Square location, opening at 288 Newbury St. in another former Pinkberry space. The juice spot should not be confused with Boston’s own juice bar, simply named Pressed, which has two locations in Beacon Hill and the South End.
Yes, Pressed Juicery in Harvard Square serves a lineup of cold-pressed juices, but it has a few other menu items available, including vegan, gluten-free soft serve in chocolate, vanilla, greens, and strawberry almond flavors with assorted toppings like granola and almond butter. Along with its signature beverages and water, Pressed Juicery serves “superfood tonics” and lattes in untraditional flavors like turmeric and beetroot, in addition to matcha. The shop is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
