A former Irish pub in Back Bay has officially been replaced by a new restaurant and bar bar that boasts interior updates, a hearty menu, and more. Beacon Street Locale (previously reported under the name St. Locale) is now in business at 495 Beacon St., where it took over from the now-closed Crossroads Irish Pub.
The restaurant is run by George Vinal and Angelo Stamos and aims to position itself as a neighborhood spot with a heavy focus on food first, plus a supporting wine and craft cocktail program, as previously reported. Beacon Street Locale also has a selection of craft beers and serves items like flatbread pizzas, steak entrees, burgers, salads, and more. There is a Facebook page for the restaurant, which will apparently offer live music. There are also a few televisions throughout the restaurant.
