Adams Corner will soon gain a new restaurant and bar. Industry is set to open soon in the former Sonny’s Pub space at 750 Adams St., according to the Dorchester Reporter.

Owners David Arrowsmith and Martin Davis (formerly of the Littlest Bar), as previously reported, took over the Sonny’s space, and they have spent the last several months renovating. Sonny’s closed down last fall after nearly 50 years in business. The updated restaurant will serve classic American comfort food, including flatbreads, burgers, steaks, seafood, and more. Eventually, Industry will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There will also be 16 beers on tap, along with wine and a wide selection of whiskey.

Inside the overhauled space, the lounge and restaurant will seat 140, with a 30-seat bar and a private room for 38. There are reportedly new windows, gas lines, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Seating will include red-leather booths, and there will be a small stage in the main dining room to accommodate live music performances.

Stay tuned for updates on the specifics of the opening date for Industry, which should arrive some time this summer.
