A restaurant specializing in pasta and bearing a somewhat thematically appropriate name will open in Arlington Center: Twyrl will move into the space formerly occupied by Madrona Tree (which closed down last summer), where it will serve house-made pastas, among other items, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported. The restaurant promises “fast, casual, ambient dining,” per its Facebook page.
Twyrl’s menu will feature a variety of pastas with different sauces, as well as “bountiful” salads and grilled sandwiches. The restaurant also has a beer and wine license and will have a seasonal outdoor patio. It will be open for lunch and dinner at 315 Broadway, and Arlington’s neighborhood website indicates that it could open soon. Eater has reached out to the restaurant for more details and will post any updates as they are made available.
Twyrl’s predecessor, Madrona Tree, served American and Lebanese cuisine and featured catered boxed lunches.
