A chain of Korean chicken restaurants has opened its newest location in Boston, taking over the former SoulFire Barbecue Space at 182 Harvard Ave. BB.Q Chicken is now serving up its specialty Korean-style chicken in Allston, and there are plenty of different varieties from which to choose.
The menu in Allston features both fried and grilled chicken entrees, boneless and bone-in wings, rice balls, rice burgers, and a handful of other dishes and sides. The glazes and spices include both a sweet and spicy version of the restaurant’s “secret sauce,” soy garlic, honey garlic, and “cheezling.” This is the first New England restaurant for the chain, which has existing locations in New Jersey, New York, Virginia, California, Illinois, and North Carolina, as previously reported.
BB.Q Chicken is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
