A seafood-centric restaurant with a location in Newton is on the verge of opening a new spot in Quincy. Shaking Crab is almost ready to debut its menu of Cajun-style seafood at 22 Cottage Ave., according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
Shaking Crab features a wide spread of seafood, including mussels, crawfish, lobster, shrimp, Alaska king crab, and so much more. It first opened in Newton in 2015 and has another location in Flushing, New York. The seafood is prepared with a coating of the restaurant’s signature spice blend and shaken in a bag, as previously reported. Similar concepts can be found at Holly Crab and Loui Loui Louisiana Seafood in Allston.
Shaking Crab joins a restaurant hot spot in Quincy: It will be located next to 16C and close to a handful of other spots, including Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar, Pho Pasteur, and more.
