A restaurant in Arlington that served pizza, sandwiches, and other Italian entrees has closed down for the second time in the last year. Capri Pizza & Subs (1323 Massachusetts Ave.) is shuttered and dark, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, and its Yelp page indicates further reports of the closure.

Capri Pizza & Subs has been around since the early 1990s. Last March, the restaurant closed down temporarily, and a new owner took over operations, as Wicked Local reported at the time. Capri reopened within a month in 2016, and there is no word yet on whether this new closure is another temporary situation or whether it will be permanent. The Arlington restaurant was known for serving pizza (whole and by the slice), plus pasta, salads, sandwiches, and items such as garlic bread, chicken fingers, buffalo wings, and fries.
