A popular Boylston Street restaurant known for its extensive wine list has relocated to a space roughly three times as large to accommodate more guests, expanded hours, and a bigger menu. Troquet — now dubbed Troquet on South and located at 107 South St. in Boston’s Leather District — officially reopens for business this evening, according to general manager Jake Tringali.
The new Troquet has a bar and lounge area with high-tops and banquettes, along with the dining room and a private 25-seat back room for wine dinners and other events, as Boston Magazine reported.
Troquet offers more than 50 wines by the glass, plus hundreds more full-bottle options. Matt Marini serves as bar manager, overseeing a new list of cocktails that features everything from whiskey and bourbon to cognac. Additionally, there is a new bar menu for the restaurant, which includes seafood and raw bar options, a burger, and even pizzas. Troquet also plans to introduce a champagne cart featuring a few different bubbly options.
