A French restaurant with locations in Brookline and Boston’s Back Bay has formed a partnership with a suburban bakery and cafe to offer a prix fixe menu two days a week. La Voile Brasserie has joined forces with Susu Bakery & Cafe in Wellesley and is now offering the special menu on Friday and Saturday nights at the 575 Washington St. cafe, according to the Swellesley Report.
The partnership brings the Newbury Street restaurant’s French brasserie-style cuisine to Wellesley in the form of a three-course menu available for $55 with an optional wine pairing for an additional $30. The rotating menu features items like tuna tartare, braised beef, risotto, fish soup, endive salad, roast chicken, and more, and each meal comes with a dessert, of course, like crème brulée.
Reservations can be made by calling Susu Bakery & Cafe at 781-237-7977.
When not serving up La Voile’s French cuisine, Susu is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, serving a variety of sweets, sandwiches, beer and wine, and more.
