One of three Boston-area locations of the national Asian restaurant chain P.F. Chang’s will close down next week, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The Prudential Center restaurant posted a sign thanking patrons “for being part of our family” and indicating that the restaurant would close down on March 21.
P.F. Chang’s is known for its lengthy menu of Asian-inspired dishes, including chicken lettuce wraps, wings, pork dumplings, spring rolls, Mongolian beef, curry vegetables, lo mein, fried rice, and so much more.
The closure of P.F. Chang’s comes amid new developments at the Prudential Center. The complex welcomed the Italian food and dining emporium Eataly last November, and the lineup of other restaurants on the brink of opening new locations within the Pru includes Anna’s Taqueria, Dig Inn, and Earls Kitchen + Bar, along with New York City’s Num Pang.
Update, 3/24, 10 a.m.: Another P.F. Chang’s outside the city will also close down. The restaurant at Peabody’s Northshore Mall will shutter after business on April 11, per BRT.
