Dave’s Fresh Pasta Team Will Open Semolina Kitchen and Bar This Spring

A popular specialty food spot in Davis Square will soon have a sibling in Medford. The Dave’s Fresh Pasta team has been working towards opening a new restaurant since 2015 and could unveil Semolina Kitchen and Bar sometime in late spring 2017, according to The Tufts Daily.

Dave’s Fresh Pasta is a food and wine shop with specialty retail goods like homemade sauces, artisan cheese, breads, and pastas; it also has a lunch counter for panini, entrees, soups, salads, and more. Its new sibling will lean more in the casual, sit-down direction and will have a full liquor license and cocktails.

Semolina Kitchen and Bar will be located at 574 Boston Ave. and will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast will reportedly be continental-style, and there will be coffee and pastries available. There will be a pizza oven in the restaurant for lunch and dinner options, and like Dave’s, Semolina will offer takeout options as well.
