Framingham welcomes a new Indian restaurant this weekend with the opening of Biryani Pot near the Natick Mall. This will be the 14th location for the Texas-based chain, which specializes in Hyderabadi cuisine. Biryani Pot makes its debut on March 12, according to a post on Facebook, just in time for the spring festival Holi.
The menu at Biryani Pot will heavily feature its namesake, a dish made with slow-cooked basmati rice served alongside meat, vegetables, and more, as previously reported. In addition to biryani, the restaurant will have samosas, paneer, fried rice, naan, roti, and a range of meat and vegetable entrees, including curries, masala, and a house special, mandhakini, made with onions, chilies, and a chopped boiled egg.
Located at 255 Worcester Rd., Biryani Pot will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
