Another place to sip beer will soon arrive in Everett: Down the Road is working to put the final touches on its new taproom at 151 Bow St. and has its sights set on an April opening, according to the Everett Independent.

While the taproom is a new addition to the business, Down the Road is no stranger to the neighborhood. Its founder and head brewer Donovan Bailey has run distribution out of Everett, the Independent reported. He launched the brewery’s first beer in April 2015 and did mostly contract brewing to launch a lineup of elaborately labeled beers, which have been distributed around the region.

Down the Road’s Everett facility will have a brewing system and canning line in addition to the 200-seat taproom, as previously reported. The brewery received its pouring license from Everett’s licensing commission this week. Bailey reportedly plans to maintain some contract brewing relationships.
