A South Boston ice cream shop now has a spinoff coffee shop that is open and serving up beverages, snacks, and more. Molly’s Farmhouse Coffee opened earlier this month at 16 Preble St. near the Andrew MBTA stop, joining its sibling Molly Moo’s Ice Cream & Cafe in Southie.
Both shops are the work of Mohamed Nahas, who previously told Eater that Molly’s Farmhouse Coffee would start out with the basic coffee shop offerings and expand into ice cream. For now, the coffee shop serves breakfast sandwiches and 15 different coffee flavors that are made with essential oils. Molly’s Farmhouse Coffee is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, Molly Moo’s has been closed for the season since mid-December but will reopen on March 19.
