An Irish pub in Back Bay is on its way out and a new restaurant will take over in its place, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Crossroads Irish Pub at 495 Beacon St. will be replaced by a new restaurant called St. Locale, run by George Vinal and Angelo Stamos.

The new restaurant will brand itself as a neighborhood spot that is focused on food first and will have a wine and craft cocktail program, Universal Hub reported. St. Locale will reportedly have the same number of seats and the same hours as Crossroads, and the conversion is supposed to be quick. Crossroads previously closed in 2013 but soon reopened under the same name but with new owners. It is currently an affiliate of two other Back Bay spots, Lir Irish Pub and Globe Bar & Café, as well as McGann’s Irish Pub near TD Garden, according to its website.
