A Cambridge catering company plans to expand its reach within the neighborhood and will open up a new cafe in North Cambridge, not far from Somerville’s Davis Square. The team behind Season to Taste is on track to unveil NOCA Provisions at 156 Rindge Ave. this coming spring, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

While specific details for the neighborhood cafe are still getting worked out, NOCA Provisions will reportedly offer toasts, coffee, and to-go meals when it opens. Season to Taste has already made a name for itself in Greater Boston for its seasonally-driven catering services. The company relies on partnerships with local farmers and producers to design menus around seasonal ingredients.

Season to Taste’s space at 2447 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, near the forthcoming cafe, is already home to The Table, an acclaimed 20-seat restaurant that is the work of 2016 chef of the year Carl Dooley. The Table and NOCA Provisions will be separate entities, aside from both existing under the Season to Taste umbrella.
