Kor Tor Mor (24 College Ave., Somerville) opens in Davis Square tomorrow (Tuesday, December 19), serving Thai food — with a focus on Bangkok street foods — for lunch and dinner.
Those Bangkok foods are primarily rice-based dishes, including the restaurant’s signature dish, khao na kai, a chicken, gravy, and rice dish, as previously reported; khao na ped, roasted duck and rice with a Thai sauce; khao moo dang, roasted and crispy pork with a boiled egg, Chinese sausage, rice, and a red barbecue sauce; and more.
Also on the menu: various types of fried rice, plenty of noodle dishes (including the ubiquitous pad thai), noodle soups, and more.
Kor Tor Mor — named for the Thai abbreviation for Bangkok — will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., except for Mondays, when it will be closed. It’s located in the former Golden Light space, right next to Oat Shop, and it will offer catering, delivery, and takeout. Online ordering is coming soon.
