Since opening in mid-2014, Precinct Kitchen + Bar (154 Berkeley St., Back Bay, Boston), located at the Loews Boston Hotel, has dutifully closed its spacious patio — cozily sunken away from street level — as the seasons dictate. But this winter (which, yes, is coming), Precinct is keeping the patio open with three special themes, one each in January, February, and March.
From January 9 through January 31, visitors can relive the magic of Game of Thrones (please leave weapons and dragons at home, and keep your clothes on) with cocktail and food specials and Seven Kingdoms-inspired decor on the patio, which will be heated, and there will be North-inspired furs available for warmth. (Or go find an Ikea rug and make your own.)
Cocktails will include Blood of the Dragon (Boston Harbor Distillery Putnam New England Rye, cranberry, chai, and clove) and Cersei’s Poison (vodka, peach bitters, lime, and ginger beer), served in Viking-style tankards, of course.
The special menu will be available alongside the full regular menu on the patio as well as in the bar area of the restaurant inside.
The Game of Thrones patio will be open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly. No cover charge; a la carte pricing. Special cocktails will start at $14. Stay tuned for the February and March themes.
