A New Hampshire-based coffee company will fill the lobby of Fenway’s former Landmark Center (now 401 Park — the future home of the Time Out Market food hall) with nitro cold brew, to-go cans, and coffee blends starting next week. King’s Row Coffee Company will begin operating a kiosk just inside the entrance to the building’s lobby on Monday, December 4, and it will remain open throughout 2018.
The coffee company takes some cues from wine when it comes to roasting and brewing. James Beard award-winning chef Craig Shelton, who has degrees in molecular biochemistry and biophysics, applies a scientific approach to King’s Row coffee. The single-origin beans are roasted individually to optimize flavor and create a “complex and balanced tasting experience,” per the King’s Row website.
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring King’s Row to The Fenway. The neighborhood is a natural fit for us, given its history of supporting and highlighting local food and drink,” King’s Row Coffee co-founder Sam Sabky said in a release.
To celebrate its arrival in Boston, the King’s Row kiosk will have free coffee coupons for purchases made throughout the week. The kiosk will operate on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting next Monday. In addition to its nitro cold brew, King’s Row will have drip coffees and canned coffee available.
