A renovated West End restaurant makes its grand debut Thursday, November 16, with a mixture of American and Asian influences on its menu. Rogue Lounge took over for North Star at 222 Friend St. near TD Garden and is ready to unveil a shiny new interior that boasts a large dining room, private events spaces, and plenty of high-def televisions.
The menu features a blend of cuisines, including sushi, salmon poke, chicken wings, ramen, and salads. Entrees range from sushi pizza to pad thai, shrimp scampi, and bourbon beef. On the beverage side, there’s a rotating selection of beers and cocktails, with mai tais on tap.
Partners Michael DeSousa, Timothy Bartolomeu, Anthony DePinto, and Kevin Ye are behind the overhaul of the space, which seats 130 in the dining room, with 25 seats at the bar. The partners have said that they wanted to make the space more cohesive, allowing for a mixture of dining and nightlife activities. As such, the restaurant can accommodate entertainment, including DJs and live bands. There is also custom artwork within the space.
Rogue is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
