A pizzeria in Downtown Boston near the waterfront will close for good at the end of the month. Nunzio’s Pizzeria (195 State St.) shared the news of its impending closure on a white board at the restaurant, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported, letting customers know its final day in service would be October 31.
Nunzio’s serves a lineup of standard pizzeria fare, from specialty pizzas and grilled sandwiches to salads and sides. It’s also open early in the morning, serving breakfast items like omelets and egg sandwiches. A Twitter user shared a photo of the message displayed at the restaurant, which read:
Dear Nunzio’s customers, We regret to inform you, but Nunzio’s will no longer be open after this month. We are closing our doors for good on 10/31/17. It’s been a great run and would like to thank all our loyal customers. It’s been our pleasure serving the financial district all these years.
Nunzio’s is located near the Greenway and down the street from several other restaurants, including the Ginger Man, the Black Rose, and Bostonia Public House.
