The North End welcomed a new restaurant this week with the arrival of Golden Goose Cafe, a sibling of Golden Goose Market. Proprietor Steve DeAngelis debuted his new venture at 65 Atlantic Ave., according to North End Waterfront News, bringing a new option for breakfast and lunch to the waterfront neighborhood.
The cafe is situated close to the market (179 Commercial St.) and serves a lineup of breakfast dishes that includes eggs, pancakes, and bagels. There are also specials, like the Elvis breakfast sandwich, made with banana jelly, bacon, and peanut butter. Other filling options include crab cakes Benedict and a breakfast burrito.
Word of this cafe first surfaced in October 2016, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported, and now that it’s open, the space offers seating for 36 people, with plans for some spots on the patio. Golden Goose Cafe operates seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
