A group of breakfast-centric restaurants with three locations in Greater Boston and Portsmouth, New Hampshire will add another to the mix next week. The Friendly Toast opens its doors at the Burlington Mall on Monday, October 23, bringing thick cut toast, eggs, and so much more to the complex along Massachusetts’s Middlesex Turnpike.
The new restaurant bears the familiar decor of the other Friendly Toast locations: bright colors, vintage decorations, green accents, and a red bar top with matching stools. Guests can also look out for the recognizable menu, which includes omelets, macaroni and cheese, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, and even breakfast tacos.
Additionally, the Burlington Friendly Toast will have a full bar with draft beers, wine, and cocktails with a novelty flare, including Pop Rocks-rimmed martinis, four types of mimosas, and a bloody Mary with bacon.
“We’re very excited about the Friendly Toast coming to Burlington Mall and look forward to working closely together with the mall to bring Burlington-area residents a unique dining experience,” Eric Goodwin, a co-owner of the Friendly Toast, said in a release.
The restaurant flings open the doors on Monday and will operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. While previous plans for a third Boston-area location in Coolidge Corner did not materialize, as previously reported, another new location is still on the way from the Friendly Toast, headed for Bedford, New Hampshire.
