As promised, a New York-based restaurant with a heavy emphasis on seasonal ingredients expands its presence in the Boston area today. With two locations already open in the city, Dig Inn unveils its newest restaurant Wednesday, October 18 at the Prudential Center, bringing its full fall menu to 800 Boylston St.
Dig Inn partners with farms all over the Northeast to source ingredients for its customizable menu, which typically features vegetables, greens, grains, and assorted proteins, including chicken, tofu, salmon, and more. The restaurant’s signature market bowls come loaded with a diner’s choice of two sides and a protein, or an extra side. This season, the menu includes items like maple cauliflower, roasted kale with acorn squash, and grilled heirloom apples. Some of the local farms Dig Inn taps for its ingredients include Wilson Farm in Lexington and Kitchen Garden Farm in Sunderland.

Dig Inn first arrived in Back Bay last summer, opening in July at 557 Boylston St. A second location opened in Downtown Crossing this past May, and the Prudential Center opening marks the continuation of a planned expansion for the company that included several additional restaurants in New York as well.
