A chef with years of experience in the Boston area will open a new neighborhood spot in his hometown just north of the city. Patrick Campbell, the opening executive chef for Cafe ArtScience and an alum of Barbara Lynch’s No. 9 Park, plans to open the Stones Common House & Kitchen in Stoneham, bringing a casual menu to a space within a mixed-use development in the town’s main square, as Boston Magazine reports.
The Stones will seat 102 people, with some space on an outdoor seasonal patio, as the Stoneham Independent previously reported. There will be a U-shaped bar, with a mix of tables spread throughout the restaurant, which will serve casual, scratch-made food, including house-made pasta, salads, and snacks and appetizers for sharing, plus cocktails, wine, and craft beer.
The restaurant is under construction, and Campbell has several partners in the business. Expect to see the Stones up and running as early as March next year at 370-380 Main St.
