A burger spot in Jamaica Plain has closed down its second location, which had been open less than a year. Grass Fed held one final day of service at its Forest Hills restaurant yesterday and is now closed, according to Universal Hub.
The 3698A Washington St. location of Grass Fed opened in March 2016, right across from the Forest Hills MBTA station. Owner Krista Kranyak (Ten Tables) opened the original location at 605 Centre St. in March 2012.
Posts on Facebook and Instagram announced that the Forest Hills restaurant would be sold, while the original Centre Street restaurant will remain open. Grass Fed specializes in a variety of burgers and sandwiches, plus hot dogs, fries, and other options, and it is known for its lineup of boozy milkshakes.
The Centre Street location is currently open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
