A Burlington burger restaurant that was the brainchild of Food Network chef Bobby Flay has closed its doors. Bobby’s Burger Palace in the Burlington Mall was one of more than a dozen such restaurants around the country, but its windows are now papered-over and the restaurant is closed for good, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The restaurant’s final day was on December 28, Burlington Cable Access Television reported, and it had been in business for nearly four years, having opened in January 2013. Flay created the Burger Palace chain as a way to showcase his favorite food at a moderate price, according to the restaurant’s website. The restaurant served a wide range of burgers with different toppings, plus salads, sides, shakes, and more. With the Burlington spot closed, the closest Bobby’s Burger Palace location is at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Eater has reached out for more details on the closure and will post any updates when they are available.
