A local trio of restaurants has shut down its location in Cleveland Circle near Boston College. Brighton’s The Real Deal is no more, but two other locations of the restaurant in West Roxbury and Jamaica Plain remain open, as Boston Magazine reports.

In a post on Facebook, the restaurant announced that the lease had run out at 1936 Beacon St. and that efforts would now be concentrated on the two other locations, both of which will honor any gift cards customers had purchased in Brighton. The announcement from the restaurant also hinted that there will be exciting news coming from The Real Deal in 2017.

The Real Deal was known for serving “monster burgers” with plenty of toppings, along with wraps, salads, pizza, sandwiches, and seasonal specials. It closed in Brighton on December 29. Its former next door neighbor, Boloco, closed down last May after 18 years in business, and a nearby Appleblee’s was demolished in March to make way for a new mixed-use development.
