A new sushi restaurant plans to open in the heart of Brookline near Brookline High School. Chiharu Sushi & Noodle is slated to operate at 370 Boylston St., per town filings, and the proposed space will undergo some renovations with a goal of opening in April, according to Wicked Local.

The restaurant will reportedly offer grab-and-go breakfast in the morning, along with standard lunch and dinner service. There will be 20 seats inside the restaurant, which could operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Owners Qun Li (an alum of Mix-It in Cambridge and Haru near Copley) and Mei Pan (owner of the now-defunct May’s Cafe in Allston), reportedly plan to offer items like triangle rice balls and steamed vegetable buns, in addition to sushi and noodle dishes.

In town filings, Li and Pan promise “a cozy dining room and an elegant sushi bar,” featuring artwork by “notable new artists.”

Chiharu Sushi & Noodle will be situated close to the Brookline Hills MBTA stop, and there will be delivery service each night.
