One of Boston’s own distilleries will soon open a new facility, complete with a tasting room where guests can sample spirits. Bully Boy Distillers is seeking a license to operate a tasting room within its new 50 Cedric St. space in Roxbury, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, a move that comes alongside a large-scale expansion of the distillery’s production capacity.
The tasting room will reportedly occupy around 500 square feet within the new 8,000-square-foot facility, and Bully Boy is in the final stages of preparing the space. The expansion to the new facility will enable Bully Boy to increase production dramatically, as previously reported. The new facility is located across the street from Bully Boy’s original space, which will remain in use for gin production.
Bully Boy Distillers was founded by brothers Will and Dave Willis and specializes in small-batch distilled liquors, including whiskey, rum, vodka, and gin, in addition to some infused spirits like Hub Punch.
