A second location of a Brookline restaurant will be opening soon in Downtown Boston. Beacon Street’s Curry House has taken over the former Beantown Hoagie space at 102 Water St. and has a new sign up and paper on the windows, according to Universal Hub.
The Indian restaurant is known for its lunchtime buffet, appetizers like vegetable samosa and chicken pakora, baked naan and other breads, and hearty entrees like chicken korma, shrimp curry, lamb vindaloo, and a whole host of vegetable dishes.
The new restaurant on Water Street has a sign in the window indicating it is coming soon, according to a photo from Adam Castiglioni of the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Blog.
Curry House will join a handful of other restaurants nearby in this popular area for workday lunches, including Villa Mexico Cafe, Pita Thyme, Boston Kebab House, and others.
