More sushi bowls and burritos have arrived in Boston, courtesy of a Connecticut restaurant. Love Art Sushi, which has one existing location, is now softly open at 1 Haviland St. near Berklee College of Music, according to a post on Facebook.

Love Art Sushi opened its first location at the University of Connecticut in October and now brings its menu of poke-style sushi bowls to the Berklee campus. There are preset and build-your-own bowls, which can be made with white or brown rice with additional "mix-ins" that include cucumber, wonton chips, baby corn, and more. Additional toppings like salmon, tuna, tofu, eggs, avocado, and chicken are available, and the bowls get topped with sauces.

The restaurant has also jumped on a trend that’s been gaining traction in the Boston area: the sushi burrito. Love Art Sushi’s version is called the “makiritto,” but it joins side-by-side spots OGinger and Pokeworks, both of which are now open in Somerville's Davis Square, aboard the sushi burrito train. In addition to sushi bowls and maki treats, Love Art Sushi serves bubble teas, gyoza, and other snacks. Soft opening hours will be Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12-9 p.m.

The restaurant took over the former T.C.’s Lounge, which operated for more than 40 years but closed in March 2012 after damage from a fire.
