A restaurant specializing in hearty Southern fare opens its doors this Thursday in Lynnfield. Fat Biscuit Southern Table & Taps unveils its second location on January 26 at the MarketStreet complex.
With an existing location in North Conway, NH, Fat Biscuit will soon have twice the biscuits, Southern fare, and locally sourced dishes. The restaurant touts its open kitchen that doesn’t use preservatives or microwaves, and it serves a wide range of breakfast sandwiches built around its namesake “fat biscuits,” as previously reported. These biscuit sandwiches feature a wide range of ingredients, including everything from fried green tomatoes to pulled pork, along with crunchy honey peanut butter, jam, bananas, and candied bacon.
Alongside these biscuit sandwiches, the Lynnfield Fat Biscuit will feature all-day breakfast and assorted entrees, including shrimp and grits, brick chicken, burgers, salads, and more. There are also Southern sides like coleslaw, cheddar grits, hash browns, and sweet potato casserole.
The grand opening is slated for 4 p.m. on January 26, and its full hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The North Conway restaurant is currently closed for the winter season and will reopen on May 1.
