A new wine bar and cafe is headed for Downtown Boston and will offer tastings, classes, and other educational wine programs, according to the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog. Taste Wine Bar & Cafe is coming soon to 101 Summer St., promising “a place for people who enjoy wine, beer and cheese to hang out.”
The wine bar is situated between the Downtown Crossing and South Station MBTA stops, near Common Vines Wine Shop, which carries the wine, beer, and cheese that will be served at Taste, according to its website. Wines will be available by the glass, bottle, or flight, and Taste will also serve beer, cheese, and charcuterie.
“We believe the more you taste and learn, the more your taste and enjoyment grows. To help you explore with confidence, our menu promotes sampling and ‘DIY’ learning, and we also offer regular guided tastings and classes,” the website reads. Taste Wine Bar & Cafe is slated to open this spring.
