A changing of the guard is underway with two local fast-casual chains. B.Good has taken over a Boloco location near Northeastern, making good on a transition promised back in the fall. B.Good (stylized as b.good) is now up and running at 359 Huntington Ave., just in time for a new semester, according to a post on Facebook.
The co-founders of each of the two companies announced details of the planned transition back in October: Boloco’s John Pepper said some of the chain’s restaurants had been sold to B.Good to sustain the business, while B.Good’s Anthony Ackil shared details of how the company had modeled its systems off of Boloco’s.
B.Good is on track to operate 60 locations overall by March 2017. It is known for its menu of grain and salad bowls, burgers, sandwiches, smoothies and more. Four other Boloco restaurants were also part of the B.Good transition.
