A Somerville bar that was featured in a movie with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart will be sold as its owner looks towards retirement. On the Hill Tavern, where the noted actors filmed a scene for their movie "Central Intelligence," will come under new ownership but will retain its name and concept, owner Bob Antonelli told Eater.
Antonelli said he is approaching retirement age and decided this was the right time to sell the restaurant. On the Hill Tavern has operated at 499 Broadway for 12 years. Its liquor license will be transferred to the Callan Hospitality Corp., led by Patrick Grace, the longtime owner of The Littlest Bar, which closed down in September 2015 to make way for a condo development slated to take over the building the bar called home at 102 Broad St.
