A new cafe opened its doors today in a historic space in Wellesley. Caffe Nero made its debut at the historic Wellesley Hills station at 7 a.m. this morning and is celebrating the occasion by offering free coffee until 3 p.m.
This new cafe joins a handful of other Caffe Nero locations in the Boston area. The Wellesley cafe features a similar European-style interior to the other locations and includes reclaimed wood fixtures, library pieces, and imported antique chairs, as previously reported.
The first day of business serves as Caffe Nero’s introduction to the neighborhood. The Wellesley location will assume its regular hours of operation on Thursday.
Good morning Wellesley, we're glad to announce that we are open today! Today 7am-3pm, stop by for some free coffee. Reg hrs 5:30am-9pm

Two more Caffe Nero locations are currently in the works: one slated for Central Square in Cambridge and another for Washington Square in Brookline. The company is working on finalizing a lease for the Brookline cafe.
