Scorpion Bar Sails Into Patriot Place Today

Patriot Place is about to gain a Mexican cantina, courtesy of Big Night Entertainment Group. Scorpion Bar makes its debut in Foxborough today, bringing with it a hefty lineup of enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and margaritas.

This new Scorpion Bar is an expansion of an existing concept at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut, and the restaurant spans 7,700 square feet, with HDTVs and an LED wall. There are also two outdoor patios and a large bar, which is stocked with over 125 varieties of tequila.

The food menu includes daily specials ranging from fish tacos to huevos rancheros, along with rice bowls; tortas platters with beans, papas fritas, and mixed greens; fajitas; enchiladas; and loaded burritos.

Big Night Entertainment Group is also responsible for Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge, Gem Italian Kitchen Lounge & Nightclub, Red Lantern Restaurant & Lounge and other concepts at Foxwoods in Connecticut, as previously reported. The group also plans to open another Scorpion Bar location in Boston’s Seaport District.

Scorpion Bar opens at Patriot Place today at 5 p.m, and it will serve lunch and dinner each day from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., with the bar open until 1 a.m. Here’s the opening food and drink menu:
