As a wave of juice bars continues to sweep over Boston, another trendy treat appears to be on the decline. A slow exodus of frozen yogurt spots continues with the closure of a Pinkberry in the North End after three years in business, North End Waterfront reports.

This comes about a year after the shuttering of the frozen yogurt chain’s shop in Somerville’s Davis Square. Other frozen yogurt places to leave the area in the last year include FroZenYo in Downtown Crossing (its vacant space is slated to become a Dig Inn) and Yogurtland in Coolidge Corner, which was the last remaining location for the chain that once had four in the area.

Pinkberry, meanwhile, retains a presence across Greater Boston, with locations in Chestnut Hill, Back Bay, Harvard Square, South Station, and elsewhere.
