In the works since late 2015, a second location of Chinatown’s Pho Pasteur is finally nearing opening day at 1462 Hancock St. in Quincy, not far from the Quincy Center MBTA stop. According to owner Sau Cai, the restaurant could open in the final week of October 2016, and it will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

The original Boston location (682 Washington St.) has been open since 1991, serving a wide range of Vietnamese cuisine, from bánh xèo (savory pancakes) to bún (dishes with vermicelli and grilled meats). Of course, Pho Pasteur serves a wide range of pho as well.

Pho Pasteur’s Quincy location will seat 90, according to The Patriot Ledger, and it has a full liquor license — one of 23 new licenses restricted to Quincy Center bars and restaurants.
