The pop-up circuit continues for chef Moe Kuroki, who will be bringing her OISA Ramen concept to Union Square’s Juliet later this month. Kuroki has made her presence known in the local world of ramen, running pop-ups around Greater Boston for more than a year.
For this next Somerville pop-up, OISA Ramen will meld with the style of dining Juliet embraces daily. There will be two versions of the ramen menu: "a standard version served in two seatings or a premium menu served at the open kitchen counter with a full view of Kuroki and Lewin guiding each other toward new achievements around the stove," according to the event page.
In addition to three kinds of ramen (one vegetarian-style), the menus include fluke crudo, fried chicken, mitsumame, hiya mabo tofu, and more. Tickets for the pop-up at Juliet go on sale at 10 a.m. today (Thursday, September 1), and the dinner will take place on Monday, September 12. Tickets are $50 for the standard meal and $75 for the premium.
