A much anticipated expansion of Night Shift Brewing’s popular taproom is slated for an early September debut. Affectionately dubbed "The Annex," the addition will increase the brewery’s capacity and will be available for private events.
The Annex opens to the public on September 9, ushering in Night Shift’s official grand opening weekend for the space. It will then be open Thursday through Sunday during the brewery’s normal business hours. Monday through Wednesday, it will only be used for private events.
There is seating for 80 people in the space, and events will have a 150-person capacity. Night Shift incorporated an additional bar into this space adjacent to its existing taproom at 87 Santilli Hwy., as previously reported, and it will help accommodate the growing crowds at the brewery.
Night Shift is also increasing its production volume and has leased a 30,000-square-foot space in Chelsea for storage.
