A new cafe will take over a former convenience store near the "Dali corner" between Harvard and Union Square. Broadsheet Coffee Roasters is moving into 100 Kirkland St., and the team will convert the space into a cafe that will serve breakfast, lunch, and coffee.
A note posted in the window of the space read:
Our goal is to completely revamp this property and turn it into a warm and welcoming café/restaurant consistent with the character of this wonderful neighborhood. We aim to serve first rate coffee and tea along with delicious, innovative, and beautifully presented breakfasts and lunches. We promise to be friendly, professional, and inclusive; and to do our best to add to the happiness of our customers and the community.
We couldn’t be more excited to be opening our doors to this neighborhood, and we hope to meet you in the near future!
The forthcoming cafe will be next door to Savenor’s Butcher Shop.
