About a month ago, Jamie Bissonette and Ken Oringer debuted their new restaurant in Cambridge’s Central Square, serving dinner and a late-night menu. Little Donkey is already growing its presence in the neighborhood with the addition of breakfast service to its lineup.
Little Donkey has spent the last month dishing out plates of globally-inspired food — everything from fried farro with kimchi to Parker House rolls with Chinese Sausage — along with treats like cookie dough batter served on an egg beater. Even before opening, the team had planned to add breakfast and lunch service at the restaurant, and they kicked off the updated schedule Monday morning with bagels, pastries, coffee, and much more.
"Part of our goal [in serving] breakfast, lunch, and dinner — we want the food to be approachable and fun and interesting," co-owner Jamie Bissonnette previously told Eater.
