A Burlington bakery has closed its doors, taking with it a menu of French-style pastries, breads, sandwiches, and more. PAUL Bakery shuttered at 62 Second Ave., according to several tipsters. The Yelp page for the Burlington bakery also indicates that it is no longer open, and it has been removed from the 3rd Ave Burlington website.
The French bakery chain has been around for more than a century and has hundreds of locations in more than 33 countries around the world. With the Burlington location now closed, there are now just three other PAUL Bakery locations in the Boston area, including at Somerville's Assembly Row, in Boston's Downtown Crossing, and in Natick. The Downtown Crossing location is considered the flagship for the region.
PAUL’s Burlington location opened last August and served baguette sandwiches, assorted viennoiseries, eclairs, macarons, and much more.
